Vocal pt. 2

I call this piece Tax ---> The Rich because it was made only using samples of me saying "tax" and "the rich"

The total run time is 1:03

The piece in it's own way tells the story of a New World Order conspiracy theory.  0:10-0:20 is supposed to be the Occupy Wall street theme with the end standing for police sirens.  0:25-0:50 is the dark times as the rich take control.  0:50-1:03 is the revolution and then it slowly dying into a post-apocalyptic world with the pops representing gunfire or people being "silenced" throughout the piece.

Unnamed Sound

For my bus trip I took the east bound 21 and decided to pick a passenger and get off when they got off.  I ended up getting off of the bus after just a few stops.
My indoor recording took place in the Riverview residence hall, located here

My outdoor recording took place on the Oak Leaf Trail, located around here

Field recordings
Cardnals 1 1:20 mp3
Cardnals 2   :40  mp3
Many Birds  1:02 mp3

All of these were recorded on the Beer-line trail between 3 and 4 PM on Sunday, March 11.  My drift strategy was to random throw the google street view guy on Milwaukee and walk to that place from my dorm, which ended up in front of Riverwest Film and Video.  I chose to walk some of the way there along the Beer-line trail because I didn't want the same path there and back.
I learned that sometimes to get the best recordings you just need to record because your brain filters out certain sounds.   Sometimes you are surprised by what sounds you find, for example I didn't realized that I recorded the beeping sound of a truck backing up.  Sometimes you and just happen to walk up on a sound you want, like I found a cardnal, so you shouldn't expect that you can just find the sound you want by going to someplace.

My drift recording for my field recording is go to Google maps and zoom in on Milwaukee and drop the street view guy randomly and then walk there and back.
